نسرین قهرمانی و شایان قره بابای از ریچموندهیل متهم به در اختیار داشتن غیرقانونی اسلحه

پلیس منطقه یورک روز یکشنبه گذشته در دو حادثه جداگانه، دو قبضه اسلحه توقیف کرد.

حادثه اول

یکشنبه ۲۵ آگوست کمی بعد از نیمه شب پلیس گزارشی از صدای تیراندازی در محدوده خیابانهای یانگ و گمبل در ریچموندهیل دریافت کرد.

افسران پلیس وقتی به محل رسیدند، تعدادی پوکه گلوله و همچنین سوراخی که با گلوله ایجاد شده بود را در پنجره بیسمنت خانه ای در این محل پیدا کردند. به دنبال تحقیقات بیشتر، یک قبضه اسلحه پُر نیز پیدا و ضبط شد.

پلیس دو نفر در این ارتباط متهم شناخت که اسامی و اتهامات آنها را به قرار زیر اعلام کرد:

ـ نسرین قهرمانی ۴۸ ساله از ریچموندهیل

ـ شایان قره بابای ۱۹ ساله از ریچموندهیل

اتهامات:

ـ در اختیار داشتن اسلحه ممنوعه

ـ نگهداری سهل انگارانه اسلحه

ـ در اختیار داشتن کوکائین به قصد فروش

حادثه دوم

در حادثه دیگری در روز یکشنبه ۲۵ آگوست، کمی بعد از ده شب، پلیس اتومبیلی را که مقابل خانه ای در مارکام پارک کرده بود مورد چک قرار داد و وقتی افسران پلیس به قصد صحبت با راننده به سمت آن رفتند، راننده با کوبیدن به دو اتومبیل پلیس قصد فرار کرد که بازداشت شد و افسران پلیس اسلحه پُری را داخل اتومبیل پیدا کردند.

در این ارتباط فردی به نام نپال مک موریس ۳۰ ساله از شهرک وایت چرچ ـ استافویل متهم شناخته شد و اتهامات او به قرار زیر اعلام شد:

ـ در اختیار داشتن اسلحه به قصد استفاده خطرناک

ـ در اختیار داشتن غیرمجاز اسلحه

ـ در اختیار داشتن اسلحه ممنوعه با مهمات

ـ دستکاری شماره سریال

ـ در اختیار داشتن اسلحه خلاف دستور

ـ راندن خطرناک اتومبیل

ـ امتناع از انجام تست تنفس

TWO HANDGUNS SEIZED IN TWO SEPARATE INCIDENTS IN YORK REGION

Two handguns have been seized in two separate incidents that occurred on Sunday in York Region.

On Sunday, August 25, 2019, shortly after midnight, police responded to a report of the sound of gunshots on Maffey Crescent, which is located in the area of Gamble Road and Yonge Street in the City of Richmond Hill. When officers arrived they located several shell casings as well as a bullet hole in the basement window of a nearby residence. Following further investigation a loaded handgun was located and seized. The residents have been charged with firearms-related offences.

On Sunday, August 25, 2019, shortly after 10 p.m., police investigated a vehicle that was parked outside of a residence in the area of German Mills Road and Monsanto Court in the City of Markham. As officers went to speak with the driver of the vehicle, he attempted to flee, striking two police cruisers. He was taken into custody and officers located a loaded handgun inside of the vehicle.

“We will not tolerate gun violence in York Region,” said Chief Eric Jolliffe. “The increased number of loaded firearms that we are encountering on our streets is concerning and puts our entire community at risk. I commend our officers for their ongoing efforts to find these weapons, remove them from our communities and to put those found in possession of illegal firearms before our courts.”
