وزیر مهاجرت کانادا: مدت زمان رسیدگی به اپلی کیشن اقامت دائم ایرانیان 22 ماه کمتر شده

متوسط زمان رسيدگي به اپلي کيشن اقامت دائم ايرانيان نسبت به سه سال پيش 22 ماه کمتر شده به طوري که در شش ماه اول 2018 براي 3657 شهروند ايراني اقامت دائم صادر شده.

احمد حسین وزير مهاجرت، پناهندگي و شهروندي کانادا روز چهارشنبه 17 اکتبر بيانيه اي درباره مدت زمان رسيدگي به اپلي کيشن ايرانيان صادر کرد.

متقاضيان ايراني اقامت دائم کانادا در يکي دو سال گذشته از طولاني تر بودن مدت زمان رسيدگي به اپلي کيشن خود شاکي بودند.

وزير مهاجرت در اين بيانيه مي گويد: «با توجه به اينکه مدت زمان رسيدگي به اپلي کيشن اقامت دائم ايرانيان طولاني تر از متوسط (زمان رسيدگي به اپلي کيشن متقاضيان ديگر کشورها) بود، ما اصلاحات چشمگيري در اين زمينه انجام داديم. براي نمونه، در سال 2015، متوسط زمان رسيدگي به اپلي کيشن اقامت دائم ايرانياني که ساکن ايران بودند 32.6 ماه طولاني تر از شهروندان ديگر کشورها بود که تا جولاي 2018 اين مدت به 10.5 ماه کاهش پيدا کرده. به علاوه، در اول ماه مي 2018، متوسط زمان بررسي امنيتي متقاضيان ايراني  با بقيه مليت ها هم طراز شد.»

وزير مهاجرت در اين بيانيه مي افزايد: «از اول ژانويه 2018 تا 31 جون 2018، براي 3657 شهروند ايراني اقامت دائم کانادا صادر شده.»

وزير مهاجرت با اشاره به اينکه مدت زمان رسيدگي موضوع پيچيده اي است و در مورد هر اپلي کيشن متفاوت است و هر اپلي کيشني ممکن است، صرف نظر از اينکه از چه کشوري باشد، زمان بيشتري ببرد، گفت که بررسي امنيتي فقط يکي از فاکتورهايي است که منجر به طولاني تر شدن پروسه رسيدگي به اپلي کيشن هاي شهروندان ايراني در سال گذشته شده.

وزير مهاجرت با تاکيد بر اينکه کوشش براي بهبود بخشيدن به پروسه رسيدگي ادامه خواهد يافت، مي گويد: «اميدواريم که متقاضيان ايراني به انتخاب کانادا ادامه دهند و براي پيوستن به کاميونيتي در حال رشد ايراني  ـ کانادايي ها اپلاي کنند.«

Statement from the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship on processing times for Iranian applications 

Ottawa, October 17, 2018—The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, today issued the following statement

“Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is committed to delivering quality client service across its global network by improving processing efficiencies for all of our programs and services.

“Recognizing that processing times for Iranian permanent resident applications have been longer than the international average, we have made significant improvements. For example, in 2015, the average wait time for Iranian permanent resident applications from individuals residing in Iran was 32.6 months longer than for citizens of all other countries. By July 2018 the difference was down to 10.5 months. In addition, as of May 1, 2018, the average processing time for outstanding Iranian security screenings for permanent resident applications was in line with all other nationalities. From January 1 to June 31, 2018, 3,657 Iranian citizens were approved for permanent residency in Canada.

“The reality is that processing times are complex. Every application is handled on a case-by-case basis and there’s no one simple explanation for how long it takes. Any application can be subject to longer processing times regardless of the country of origin. Security screening was one, but not the only factor that resulted in higher processing time than average for Iranian nationals last year.

“My department continues to work in close collaboration with public safety partners to identify areas of improvement and find efficiencies in the security screening process. To address long security screening timelines which can affect all nationalities, the Canada Border Services Agency has improved its performance through process enhancements.

“We hope that Iranian applicants will continue to seek out Canada and apply to join the ever growing community of Iranian-Canadians. We’ll continue work to ensure that our processing systems are as effective as possible”.
